What is Astrology?

Astrology is the ancient study of the influence that celestial bodies of the universe such as planets, asteroids and stars have on the human life. It has also been thought of as the 'search for meaning in the sky.'

The combination of art, interpretation and science has many different systems. I use a combination of western, modern, medical and traditional astrology using the tropical zodiac and whole sign houses.

Looking to the skies we can see and feel the planets which represent different archetypes that reflected in out personality. The zodiac signs, based off the star constellations, signifying the embodied characteristics and the houses representing the area of our life this energy connects with.

With time and application, you can develop a intimate understanding of how the energies play out and impact you here on earth.

Astrology

My curiosity and intrigue with Astrology was sparked at an early age, always interested ‘star sign’ section of any newspaper or magazine. My mother fed this interest with books on the stars, horoscopes and star signs. It wasn’t until I was 36, where I followed some advise of the amazing Julie Cameron whilst reading ‘The Artists Way,’ which was to examine what it was I liked to do as child. I realised that the only books that had survived several minimalism challenges and Marie Kondo style clean outs where those of Astrology. I had never been able to part with this wisdom, and for good reason.

I searched for the podcasts that would teach me more about this rekindled fascination for the sky and this mystical insight and binged listened even when the information seemed deep over my head. I undertook a mentorship program and diving into this sacred rhythm of the universe to understand the planets and their energetic influence on our lives. As a Sagittarius rising with my sun in the ninth house, it wasn’t surprising that I popped out the other end of this 12 month binge feeling clarity, ease and a deep understanding of this magical intelligence.

I now share this knowledge with you, so that you can harness and unlock the potentials and strengths of yourself whilst bringing an understanding to how to best leverage the more delicate aspects of your spirit.
